Metaphorical Doodles is series of pen and ink drawings, mostly A4 - some larger, that I produced mainly in the early nineties. During this period I was working part-time both at a prison and Exeter University. I would carry this A4 pad with me everywhere and draw upon ideas from wherever I was. So the series is a quilt, a kaleidoscope, a coat of many colours, a dog of many boils, a cheek of many tears!
